Northwestern Reaches Campaign Goal One Year Ahead of Schedule

Amplify the Gospel Phase I Campaign Goal Reached

ST. PAUL, Minn., August 19, 2026 – Northwestern met their Amplify the Gospel comprehensive campaign goal of $23.55 million. Initially envisioned as a three-year journey, the campaign goal was reached in just two years—a record-breaking achievement that marks one of the most successful campaigns in Northwestern’s history.

President Corbin Hoornbeek reflected, “Since the moment we launched this campaign, we’ve watched God do immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine. This milestone is a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness, and it reflects incredible generosity, prayers, and commitment to Northwestern’s mission.”

Phase I of the Amplify the Gospel campaign included launching a Classical Christian Honors College, expanding into the field of Biomedical Technology, and broadcasting coast to coast through our National Media Enterprise.

The Classical Christian Honors College (CCHC) will begin their second academic year on August 26 with three cohorts of students, one entering the second year, and two entering their first. These students meet in the newly renovated Honors Commons, a dedicated space within the historic Nazareth Hall. The space has quickly become the heart of the honors experience, enriching students’ academic and spiritual formation.

Northwestern’s expansion into the field of biomedical technology included the addition of a Mechanical Engineering major, Biomedical Technology minor, and advancement in student and faculty research within the Northwestern Center for Innovation and Research (NCIR). These efforts have opened doors for industry connections and student growth in the industry.

Northwestern Media has officially expanded its broadcast reach coast to coast, from California to New York. During the Amplify the Gospel campaign, Northwestern added Sound of Life, a radio network serving New York’s Hudson Valley, and Faith Radio stations in Boise, ID and Bakersfield, CA. These expansions, alongside the launch of THE CHRIST, an Easter audio epic, have made the gospel accessible to many.

This exciting moment in time is not an ending but an important and encouraging beginning in a multi-year journey.
